Zhang Qi (Chuck) is a partner of Jade & Fountain PRC Lawyers based in Shanghai. Before joining Jade & Fountain PRC Lawyers, Zhang Qi spent over ten years with major European law firms and distinguished international accounting firms. Zhang Qi participated in annual session of OECD in order to carry out in-depth analysis on tax treaty models between countries (regions) and on international anti-avoidance, and he also attended a number of annual events of International Fiscal Association discussing contemporary hot topics with fiscal experts, governmental officials and academic professors worldwide.
Zhang Qi is good at dispute solution, litigation, arbitration, fiscal, customs, foreign exchange, company law, labor, foreign direct investments, merger and acquisition and other legal affairs. In the areas of foreign direct investments and business operation, he is very experienced. Zhang Qi has assisted Chinese investors in succeeding in the “outbound direct investment” projects.
In pursuance to “Order” of Hong Kong High Court, Zhang Qi worked as “Expert” in a case undertaken by the court pertinent to relevant laws of China mainland and submitted Expert Report.
