Dr. Oscar Yu is the managing partner of Jade & Fountain, as well as the head of their Beijing Office. Before joining Jade & Fountain, he worked for thirteen years at a leading German law firm, firstly joining the firm as an associate in their Beijing office and later establishing himself as the partner and Deputy Head of their Shanghai office.
Dr. Yu has extensive experience in the automotive and machinery engineering sector and many of his clients are world market leaders in their fields. Dr. Yu’s practice areas cover foreign direct investment, corporate and M&As, antitrust and competition law, employment law, intellectual property and real estate.
Dr. Yu also has experience in the business sector. He has advised many multinational companies on establishing their businesses in China. He provides regular legal counsel on general corporate matters to his clients and he holds the position of director and supervisor of a number of European companies.
