September 15, 2006 – Jade & Fountain’s chairman David Chen is selected by Changning District Judicial Bureau as one of the five candidates representing Changning District to compete for the title of “Oriental Lawyer”. This event is under the direction from Political and Legal Affairs Office as well as Publicity Department of Shanghai CPC Committee, and is held in cooperation with Shanghai Judicial Bureau, JieFang Daily Press Group, Wenhui-Xinmin United Press Group, Shanghai Media Group and Shanghai Bar Association. Both Shanghai Bar Association and East Law Study Center are responsible for the main operation of this event. The community and the legal industry will both participate in the voting for the winners, first time in Shanghai or even in China.
