Minglei Wu, senior counsel at Jade & Fountain, was invited to give a presentation on importing food to China, focusing on implications for food labeling, advertising and Geographic Indications protection in China at the International Young Lawyer Association (AIJA) @ Milan Expo Seminar. The seminar was focused on food-related productions, safety, development, and protections. Ms Wu gave the audience an overview of Chinese regulations, China’s legal environment, and recent developments in food-labeling compliance, advertising restrictions and European Geographic Indications protections in China.
