Dr. Scott Guan, Managing Partner of Jade & Fountain, was invited to a private dinner and conversation with Dr. Henry A. Kissinger (United States Secretary of State 1973-1977 and Nobel Peace Prize 1973) on the occasion of the 20th anniversary celebration for The Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies. The dinner was held in the Sofitel Galaxy Hotel on June 22, 2007 in Nanjing. Among the twelve participants to the dinner, there were, Kenneth Jarrett, US Consul General in Shanghai, Jessica P. Einhorn, Dean of The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, Eva Cheng, CEO of Amway Greater China & Southeast Asia, Mei Shan, Chairman of Reed Elsevier China Group, and Andrew Qian, Managing Partner of New Access Capital. It was discussed at the dinner China-US relations and challenges China faces in its rapid growth.
